As I expected the bricklayers didn't show up today. So much for a start on Thursday at the latest. It is very hot today, but when I drive and see bricklayers working on the house across the road from my old house it infuriates me.
I work for a builder and I am tempted to start ringing around the brickies that we use and see if one of them can do me a favour and brick my house.
Day 80. Trades on site 15 days. Vacant days 65.
Funny you mention that site because that is our house being built. We lived diagonally opposite you in that street and am now building down the road.
ReplyDeleteWe had a few minor issues with our bricklayers - wrong colour brick being used on our feature stack - twice! The stack had to be dismantled.
